Career possibilities
Understand the range of skilled and technical careers—and what the work actually involves.
Workshop recap
Students came together at Winchester Public Library to explore skilled careers, compare education and training routes, and turn broad questions about the future into practical next steps.

The workshop began with a simple premise: students make stronger decisions when they can see more than one credible path. Together, the group examined skilled careers and the education, training, and workplace learning that can lead to them.
The conversation moved beyond job titles. Students considered what different careers require, how apprenticeships and technical education work, and what they can begin doing during high school to explore their interests.
Discussion, presentation, and reflection gave participants several ways to engage with the same central question: what could a meaningful future look like for me?
